Issue 24 finds contributions from both familiar and new writers within the IH network from countries around the world including Australia, Argentina, Bosnia, Egypt, Italy, Malta, Russia, South Africa, Spain and the UAE. We are also pleased to include articles from well-known figures from the world of ELT, including Ron White, Michael Berman and Jeff Stanford. Finally, we are very happy to welcome back Brita Haycraft, with an article exploring IH London’s early days in Covent Garden and celebrating its triumphant return to the area last year.
In the future we hope to continue to publish articles from all those involved in English language teaching, from newly qualified and experienced teachers, mentors and senior teachers, directors of studies and academic managers, teacher trainers and coursebook writers. If you would like to contribute a piece, please email a brief outline of your article (to ensure another writer isn’t working on the same topic) to ihjeditor@ihworld.co.uk. As there are only two issues a year you might find there is a wait before it is published. Please be patient when waiting for a reply as the role of editor is in addition to my full-time job.
Whatever your interests and wherever you teach, I hope you find something that engages, motivates and enlightens you.
